Start your day at 8:30 AM by cycling south from Kratie along the Old River Road. Pass through a Vietnamese village and visit a unique temple with 400-year-old wood carvings. Enjoy views of a floating village on the Mekong while waiting for the ferry. On the west bank, visit tobacco buildings, seasonal crops, and see how palm sugar is produced. Relax by beautiful rice paddies, try fresh sugar cane juice, and have lunch with a local family.
Continue cycling through rural villages, greeted warmly by friendly locals, especially children. Enjoy opportunities to see local productions like rice whiskey and rice noodles, stop for refreshing drinks, and swim at secret Mekong beaches. In the evening, stay overnight with a family on the bank of the Mekong River, experiencing true rural Cambodian life and traditional meals.
Note: During the dry season (January – May), you have the option to relax and cool off in the fresh, clear water at the famous Kampi Rapids. Please let us know if you are vegetarians.

Rise early to watch the sunrise over flooded forests and enjoy rice noodle soup for breakfast. Take a local ferry to the east bank of the Mekong to start your kayaking tour. Paddle across the river, downstream through sand islands and the flooded forest, and spot rare Irrawaddy dolphins in their natural habitat.
Stop for swimming and photographs along the way. Enjoy lunch at Kampi, then cycle south to visit traditional rice noodle makers and climb Sambok Mountain for views of the countryside. Visit a brick factory and possibly a rice whiskey production site before returning to Kratie town around 4:30 PM.
Note: During the dry season (January-May), there is an option to cool off at Kampi Rapid Resort. Cycling distance on Day 1 is 30 km, and on Day 2 is 16 km. Kayaking distance on Day 2 is 17 km.
