This full day Angkor Temple Hunting is designed for people who would like to see the temples in different way. The pick up and drop off from your hotel is included. Only 3km from Siem Reap city center, we begin our walking in the jungle of Angkor Archeologicl Park. It is the best way to explore the temple, peaceful and quiet trail away from crowded tourists and you could hear only the sound of the birds. From one temple to another temple, we follow all the jungle trails. The above cost is not included the Angkor Pass: USD20 (Full Day). But we could see the remote temple from outside.
07h00am: Pick up from your hotel. Transfer 3km to the starting point. We begin our walking right away in the jungle. After walking for 1 hour in the jungle we cross the main road where we could meet our driver to get more water. We pass Ta Phrom temple from outside. If you have got Angkor Pass, we visit inside the temple for 1 hour. If not we continue walking in the jungle again to Ta Ney temple. We stop for lunch in front of this temple hidden from the main road in the jungle. After lunch, we continue to talk to the Old French Water Reserve where we could cool down in the water. In the afternoon we walk our final leg toward Preah Khan temple (the second biggest temple). Finsih our trekking at this temple. Transfer back to the hotel. End of tour services!
Note: The above walking tour can be done for 12km to finish at the Old French Water Reserve and got transfer back to the hotel. For harder trail, we recommend the walking 15km until Preah Khan temple and we are flexible to add more distance until 18km. But if people have got Angkor pass and would like to visit inside all the temple in details, we recommend to walk only 15km and it will allow enough time inside the temple. The itinerary can also be flexible to finish at Angkor Wat but we have to cross a stream (1 meter deep from June to November / less than 1 meter deep from December to May).
