Our Ox Cart Adventures tours provide you with the opportunity to get a glimpse of the traditional way of life in Cambodia, learn about our culture and enjoy the company of friendly local villagers. Only a short trip (7km) from Siem Reap, Chreav village is a traditional and poor community situated in picturesque rice fields and surroundings. The villagers mainly rely on fishing and farming for survival. As we meander along small tracks through the village on an ox cart one of our professional guides will explain about the way of life in the village and Cambodian Culture.
The Oxcart Sunset Tour is an amazing experience and a favourite of many guests. You will enjoy the magic of the sunset over the Cambodian countryside and see how many people in Cambodia still live in very traditional ways.
This tour starts at 4.30pm with a pick up from your hotel and travel to Chreav village. Towards the end of the day you will see people buying food for their evening meal at local markets, working in the fields or enjoying the company from family and friends near their homes.
Cruising in the ox cart through the village you will see many friendly local people going about their day. We will take you to a beautiful location in the rice fields just outside the village to see the sunset.
After the tour we will bring you back to your hotel, around 6.30pm (timing varies throughout the seasons).
