Your English-speaking guide will collect you from your hotel or the bus station in the morning and then take you to Kampi for a boat trip to see the marvellous Irrawaddy dolphins. After arriving at Kampi, you will spend an hour in a motorboat with an expert guide to maximise the likelihood of an encounter with the wild dolphins. (Note: boat tickets are included in the tour price, but at your discretion you may wish to tip the boat driver.)
After the boat tour, a small local market close by gives you a chance to obtain some refreshments if you wish

You will then visit the Phnom Sambok Pagoda with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Your guide will explain the architecture and the meaning of the various symbols of the Buddhist faith. It is a relatively easy walk with 93 steps. You are also likely to encounter the local monkey population which are friendly, but you do need to secure your valuables whilst they are present.

Next stop is a typical village where you can see and experience the village way of life, meet locals and enjoy a light lunch of noodle soup on us.

The rest of the day will be customised to meet the specific interests of the traveller.
Option A further explore the various types of agricultural production in the local countryside – rice, cucumbers, palm sugar, animal farming, or even try fishing at Preah Te Mey (tackle supplied)
Option B visit other local landmarks including the famous 100 column pagoda and Bamboo bridge at Sambour, Kampi Resort (during dry season) and Mancãsilathmorkre Temple near Kampi
Option C visit Kaoh Trong Island by Tuk Tuk or an easy flat bicycle ride and view the river, rice fields, buddhist temples, floating village and potentially visit a noodle factory or sample a local pomelo with hot chilli salt.
Option D Kratie Town and Market Tour
Your guide will introduce you to the many exotic offerings in the local market and explain their use in local culture and cooking.
