Start your day with a delightful light breakfast consisting of homemade pumpkin bread and coffee/tea at a local cafe. Following the breakfast, a comprehensive trip and safety briefing will be provided before boarding a truck for a scenic 21km drive to the starting point.
Once on the water, paddle across the river towards the west bank of the Mekong, passing by numerous sand islands that adorn the river. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to one of these islands for a well-deserved break, allowing you to swim in the Mekong and savor local snacks while learning about dolphins, the local region, and life in Cambodia.
After the break, resume paddling through the flooded forest before crossing back across the river for a unique opportunity to observe the rare and endangered Irrawaddy dolphins from the comfort of your kayak.
