Shift gears and cycle along the picturesque Mekong River through rural countryside and villages, stopping for hearty meals and refreshing drinks along the way. We spend the first day on the west bank from Prek Prolung to Vatanak. Along the way, we visit Wat, farms, rice noodle production and swim in the Mekong clear water in season. Along the way we pass through a Vietnamese and Wat Rokakandal; a unique 400 years old wood carving on the roof of this temple gives you a good photo shot. As we wait for the ferry we can enjoy looking over to a floating village on the Mekong. Having arrived on the west bank, we will visit attractions such as tobacco building, seasonal crops, Wat; learn how palm sugar is being produced in the season and relax alongside beautiful rice paddies, the perfect opportunity for photos.
