Kayaking form the river to the Sea and visit the Green Mangroves Forest Meet local people in the Ecotourism Fishery Village of Trapeang Sangkae Enjoy the landscape and amazing wildlife.
You will leave Kampot by Tuk-tuk from the meeting point in town center. On the journey we can enjoy the views of Kampot region as we travel from the town to the countryside.
After arriving at Ecovillage Trapeang Sangkae, we will visit the Community. Including the nursery for mangroves trees, the bungalow area bordering the river and community amenities (library, meeting room, shop etc).
After setting up and transferring the equipment to the riverside (e.g., check seat/life jacket/waterproof bag) and listening to the safety instructions from the tour guide, it’s time to embark on our kayak tour! (Double Seat FEEL FREE Gemini Kayak).
We will kayak down river for 2.5-3hr and enjoy the wonderful views of Kampot Province before travelling through the tranquil mangroves (including the mangroves replanting program).
We continue our journey to the mouth of the sea where guests can enjoy sharing lunch seated on bungalows with beautiful sea views!
At this time, we are free to walk through the mangroves on footbridges for a short tour of 5/10 minutes
After lunch we will travel back up river by motor boat to the starting point so no need to paddle back!
Once the equipment has been removed from the river we will say goodbye after our amazing tour together and take the tuk-tuk back to Kampot.
