Mr. Sary Pann, the Founder of The Happy Ranch Horse Farm, is a Cambodian who had been living in America for 30 years. He grew up in Siem Reap, Angkor, and then worked for the US embassy in Phnom Penh for five years.
In 1975 when the civil war broke out in Cambodia, Sary Pann was given the chance by the US embassy to escape the war and was sent to California to start a new life. When he retired from his job in America, Mr. Sary Pann came back to Cambodia and bought one Cambodian horse. Very soon, he fell in love with horses and bought a second one... And a third one. Eventually, he decided he would build a ranch in Siem Reap, Angkor. 4 years later, The Happy Ranch Horse Farm is a beautiful and peaceful place, now accommodating 51 handsome horses and ponies including stallions, mares, and foals. Crossbreeding his own horses and respecting at least 2 and a half years before breaking them in softly, Mr. Pann has achieved to get strong horses, growing taller each generation. Mr. Sary Pann has always made sure his stables are maintained at international standard.
